Miniature Mountain with Daoist Paradise

A pale green jade boulder is carved in relief and openwork with a miniature mountain landscape. A tiered pagoda and a long pavilion sit on a ledge beneath gnarled pines, while two small robed figures stand at the lower left among rocks. Brown markings in the stone add natural variation.

Look closer: A small robed figure stands beside a tall staff or tree trunk at the lower left, partly hidden by rock.
