Miniature Vase with Birds and Chrysanthemums

A small pear-shaped porcelain vase with a flared neck and two blue-and-white loop handles. Painted in famille rose enamels, two songbirds perch on a branch of pink blossoms beside a rising spray of green leaves, pink and yellow chrysanthemums, and blue flowers at the base.

Look closer: A rocky outcrop with a pale blue stone and a blue-and-white band encircles the foot of the vase.
