Mirror with Handle, Decorated with "Double Happiness" and Five Bats
A round, bronze-toned hand mirror with a long flat handle. The face is engraved with the large character for double happiness inside a ring, framed by scrolling cloud motifs, with a small shop seal below. The raking light brings out the fine engraving and the worn metallic sheen of the surface.
Look closer: A small seal with characters reading 湯萬堂 sits below the ring on the face.
