Modern Art, cover design with river landscape

A poster-style cover with the words "Modern Art" in bold dark lettering above a stylized landscape: a calm river winding under a large tree silhouetted against a pale yellow sky. Flat areas of olive green, yellow and dark tones frame the scene, with stems and flowers in the border. Text at the bottom reads edited by J.M. Bowles and published by L. Prang & Co.
