Sepia etching of a crowded caricature with a winged devil, ghostly figures, a large grimacing creature, and a helmeted woman with a shield on a cloud.

Napoleon leaps from his bed, terrified by a nightmare vision

A dense sepia etching of a crowded caricature scene: a dark winged devil and ghostly figures drift across the upper left, while a large grimacing creature dominates the foreground. At right, a helmeted woman with a shield sits on a cloud among robed figures, and scrolls of text fill the margins.
