A nude man, seen from behind, reaches outward while clutching a dark rocky ledge, his body bent in a taut diagonal. Above him, a winged figure in flowing drapery descends through a shaft of light, holding a bowl, while the lower corners fall into deep shadow.
Look closer: A monogram and date are inscribed in the lower right margin.
