Octafoil Mirror with Hunters and Prey
A lobed bronze mirror with a raised central knob surrounded by mounted hunters with bows, galloping deer, and running animals among stylized foliage and cloud scrolls. The crisp relief stands out against the dark green patina, arranged in a rotating circular composition.
Look closer: Small cloud-scroll motifs decorate the lobed rim near the top corners.
