Old Parr, an Elderly Apothecary Mixing a Concoction with Pestle and Mortar
A pen and ink drawing shows a bearded elderly man in a long robe, standing beside a table with a mortar and pestle and a bottle. His very long white beard falls nearly to the floor. A handwritten caption below reads "Olde Parr maketh ye famous Pylls" and "1863", with the note "From the Bodley's collection" beneath.
