Ornament with Owl Mocked by Day Birds
A dense engraved ornament of curling acanthus scrolls, leaves and grotesque figures fills the sheet, with a large owl-like bird at the lower center surrounded by smaller birds on the right. Fine black lines on pale paper show hatching and stippling, and a small monogram appears at the bottom edge.
