Candelabrum and Rococo Ornamental Panel, Plate 33, Meissonnier
An engraved plate on off-white paper showing a Rococo two-branch candelabrum with a sinuous, scrolling stem and flaring sconces, above a small framed panel of curling ornament enclosing a bird. Fine line engraving with light shading gives the metalwork a sculptural quality.
