Marble sculpture of Orpheus leading Eurydice out of a rough stone block, his body turned toward her as they climb.

Orpheus and Eurydice

A white marble sculpture shows a nude male figure turning back as he draws a female figure upward out of a rough, unfinished block. The stone around the couple is left rough-hewn, while their bodies are smoothly polished, contrasting rough and finished surfaces.

Look closer: The female figure's face is pressed close behind the male figure's shoulder, partly hidden in the stone.
