Pair of Miniature Vases with Birds and Chrysanthemums

Two views of a miniature pear-shaped porcelain vase with a white glaze and twin blue-and-white handles. Painted in famille rose enamels, a pair of small brown birds perch on a branch with pink blossoms, while purple and yellow chrysanthemums and green leaves grow over rocks at the base.

Look closer: A small blue-and-white band of scrolling pattern circles the rim of the neck, easy to overlook.
