Pair of Moccasins
A pair of soft tan leather moccasins photographed side by side on a grey background. Each has a blue cuff at the ankle edged with beadwork, and a long vamp decorated with diagonal bands of orange, green, red and white beads in a geometric pattern. The record names a Seneca origin and a date of about 1830.
Look closer: A fine scalloped stitched edge runs along the lower border of the vamp beside the beaded band.
