Pair of Owl-shaped Jars
A pair of low-fired pottery jars shaped as owls, each with a pale, lidded head and a body covered in amber-brown glaze that pools and runs over the surface. Incised scale-like feathers mark the wings on both sides, and the two vessels stand side by side against a soft gray backdrop.
Look closer: Red-brown clay shows at the rim and base where the glaze wears thin, revealing the body of the pottery.
