Panel from Model Cooking Stove: Lancer Jousting with a Tiger

A rectangular earthenware panel with impressed relief shows a tiger leaping left, its tail curled, toward a seated man on the right who holds a long lance pointed at its open jaws. The figure wears a cap and robe, and the shallow carving stands out against a plain, weathered clay surface.

Look closer: A hairline crack runs along the top-left edge of the panel.
