Parody of the Tale of Nasu no Yoichi, hanging scroll

A hanging scroll with gold-flecked borders shows a figure on horseback in robes drawing a bow beside water and a pine, with a fan raised on a pole nearby. Above, women sit on a wooden veranda and a reclining figure lies on a mat in a pale, muted palette of ink and color.
