Ink wash painting of pale peaches and serrated leaves hanging from a gnarled branch, in soft grey tones on paper

Peaches

Pale peaches hang from a gnarled branch among long, serrated leaves, rendered in loose ink washes with grey tonal shading and a signature and red seal at upper right. The economical brushwork gives the fruit a luminous, almost translucent quality against the dark bark and fine leaf veins.

Look closer: A small red seal is stamped in the lower left corner.
