Philosophy (bust of figure on New York Public Library facade)

Bronze bust of a bearded, elderly man in a hood and draped cloak, his brow furrowed and gaze lowered. The dark, lightly patinated surface catches highlights on the cheeks, beard, and folds of cloth against a plain black background.
