Pink Azalea—Chinese Vase

A still life of pink azalea blossoms spilling from a tall blue-and-white vase with a painted band near its middle. A dark glazed vessel rests to the right on a warm brown tabletop, and loose, quick brushwork renders the flowers against a shadowy ground.

Look closer: A faint painted signature appears on the dark background at the upper right, near the flowers.
