Plate
A shallow, round stoneware plate seen from above, its interior and rim covered in a milky blue glaze splashed with irregular lavender-purple patches. Fine crackle lines run across the surface, and a raised ring marks the inner well. The mottling was produced by copper in the glaze during firing, a hallmark of Jun ware.
Look closer: Small greenish spots dot the rim and glaze, faint traces of copper variation.
