Plate 6, Suite of Fantastic Ornamental Bouquets, Wendel Dietterlin the Younger

An etched ornament plate on an octagonal-cornered sheet shows a dense, curling composition of scrolls, acanthus-like leaves, flowers, and small masks. Fine hatched lines model the forms against a pale ground, with stems rising diagonally and spiraling toward the upper right.
