Etching of a vaulted hall with a dense crowd facing a raised dais, drapery and arched windows around the room.

Plate G: Election and Coronation of Emperor Maximilian II

An etched view of a vaulted hall filled with a dense crowd in the foreground, all facing a raised dais at the far end. Hanging drapery and tall arched windows frame the room, while banners and figures in formal dress fill the ceremonial space.

Look closer: A small plate letter "G" sits in the lower right corner of the sheet.
