Portrait of a Boy, Probably of the Crossfield Family

A young man in a green coat with silver buttons stands in a wooded landscape, holding a battledore and a feathered shuttlecock. A liver-and-white spaniel sits at his feet beside a distant lake and hilltop building.

Look closer: A distant lake and a building on a hilltop appear in the right background.
