Potter Seated with Double Gourd Vase

A small pale celadon-toned ceramic figure kneels beside a tall double gourd vase, its robe falling in smooth folds. Dark brown glaze pools on the topknot and shoulders, and the figure's hand rests on the vase's upper bulb.

Look closer: Glaze drips and small brown accents mark the figure's shoulders and topknot, and the vase's lower bulb is partly hidden in shadow.
