Dark grayscale painting of a helmeted figure in white drapery on the right and a figure running with a torch on the left, against stormy clouds.

Prometheus

A dim, monochrome painting shows a helmeted figure in a flowing white drape striding on the right, while a second figure on the left runs holding a glowing torch against dark, billowing clouds. The smoky brushwork and strong light-dark contrast fit the museum's identification, though the figures cannot be confirmed from the picture alone.
