Dream Alphabet, Letter G: Proof Print by Giuseppe Maria Mitelli

A pen-and-ink proof sheet showing a merman in the sea whose tail curls into a leaf-like flourish, with a green-tinted serpentine form arching above him. Three cherubs' heads and a small rooster appear in the upper and central fields. Light washes of green and red crayon accent the figures and waves.
