Painted fragment of an elderly bearded man with white hair and red headband, in white tunic and gray sash, looking right against a dark background.

Prospero, fragment from Prospero, Miranda and Caliban

A bearded old man with white hair and a red headband turns his head to the right, wearing a white tunic, a gray-blue sash, and a dark red cloak over one shoulder. A sword hilt is visible at his hip against a dark background, and the painted surface shows fine craquelure and loose brushwork.
