Qingbai Ware Bowl

A deep porcelain bowl with a pale bluish-white glaze, its lower body carved with overlapping lotus petals in low relief. A silver band encircles the rim and a small foot ring supports the bowl. The glaze pools softly in the carved lines, and the plain grey backdrop isolates the vessel.

Look closer: Faint carved lotus petals continue around the lower body, partly hidden in shadow at the left.
