Quadrangular vase in the shape of a Neolithic cong
A tall, square-sectioned stoneware vase covered in a soft green celadon glaze. Raised, repeating rectangular motifs run in vertical bands over its corners and faces, while the central panels stay smooth, and a short cylindrical neck rises from the top.
Look closer: The vase's relief bands are cut into the surface in a repeating stepped pattern, visible most clearly along the left edge.
