Relief with Rampant Tiger and Boar from a Funerary Stove Model

A rectangular earthenware relief tile shows a crouching feline with an open jaw on the left, facing a boar-like animal at right. Shallow modeling and a worn surface give the carved forms a soft, weathered presence.

Look closer: A lower forepaw of the left animal extends forward near the bottom edge of the tile.
