Ring for the attachment of bath implements
A corroded green bronze ring lies at a slight angle on a pale ground. Its flat band is rough with patina, and one lower section swells into a knobbed, cast mass where a fitting would have joined it. The record identifies it as a Roman ring for hanging bath implements, though the object itself shows no inscription or marks of use.
Look closer: A small raised knob on the lower band where the fitting attaches.
