Ritual object (cong)
A tall, square-sectioned jade tube with rounded corners and a hollow top, its dark green surface cut with rows of stepped, notched bands in low relief. The polished stone reads as a ritual object from the Liangzhu culture, photographed against a soft gray backdrop.
Look closer: The hollow circular opening at the top of the tube.
