River landscape: lumber yards and rafts

A hanging scroll shows a misty river landscape with a row of windswept pines on the left, distant rooftops along the far bank, and a small figure with a pole near the lower right. Pale ink washes and muted color on silk create a soft, open space, with birds flying across the upper sky.
