River with Large Trees and Possibly the Moon

A graphite sketch on a cream sketchbook page shows a river bordered by leaning, sparsely leafed trees on the left and a lone tree on the right. Loose hatching gives the pale water, distant wooded banks and hazy sky a soft, atmospheric tone within a ruled rectangular frame.
