Saint with Hood and Book, Alabaster Sculpture

A pale alabaster figure of a bearded man stands on a small rocky base, wrapped in a long hooded mantle that falls in soft folds. He holds a round object, likely a book or disc, against his chest, and his eyes are downcast in a calm, solemn expression.
