Saint Catherine of Alexandria
A crowned woman kneels in a flowing robe, gazing down at her clasped hands, while a winged cherub above offers a palm frond and a wreath of flowers. A wheel is partly visible at the lower right, and light falls diagonally from the upper left. A Latin inscription below names the saint as a virgin and martyr.
Look closer: A spiked wheel, the saint's attribute, is partly hidden at the lower right near the base.
