Sakyamuni Preaching: A Votive Stele
A carved stone stele in shallow relief shows a seated Buddha in an arched niche, one hand raised in a gesture. Attendant figures stand on either side, two smaller heads rise behind, and two lions guard the base. Traces of red pigment remain on the robes.
Look closer: A small ritual vessel or offering form sits at the base between the two lions.
