Screen with European Figures (obverse) and Landscape (reverse) with St

A small square enamel panel shows a group of richly dressed figures gathered among white horses on a grassy clearing beneath billowing clouds and leafy trees. Gilded, lacquer-like borders frame the scene, and a carved openwork stand supports it upright.

Look closer: A small dog or figure partly hidden among the horses at the lower center.
