Seated Buddha in grey stone on octagonal pedestal

A seated Buddha carved in grey stone sits on an octagonal pedestal with lotus-petal bands, before a pierced back-slab with scrolling, flame-like openwork. The figure wears draped robes and a high ushnisha, with hands held in front of the body, against a plain black background.
