Seated Guanyin
A gilt bronze figure of a seated bodhisattva rests on a double lotus pedestal, wearing a tall openwork crown, jeweled necklaces and an elaborate sash. Lotus stems rise beside the shoulders, and one hand rests on the knee while the other is raised, with the gilded surface catching soft light.
Look closer: Small lotus buds rise from stems beside the figure's shoulders, partly hidden behind the arms.
