Charcoal sketch of a bearded man with long hair and bowed head, seated and working with paper in his hands on pale paper.

Seated Man, Half-Length, at Work

A loosely drawn black chalk study of a bearded man with long hair and bowed head, seated at half-length and absorbed in work with his hands. Soft hatched shading on pale paper defines his loose cloak and the paper he holds, while the lower edges fade into open sketch lines.
