Seated Buddha Vairochana, Central Java, ca. late 9th century

A small bronze seated Buddha with a ring-shaped halo sits cross-legged on a tiered lotus pedestal, its surface covered in green patina. The raised right hand, palm outward, and the left hand resting in the lap frame a serene face with a topknot, set against a plain gray background.
