Painted portrait of a bearded man with tousled dark hair turning toward the viewer against a near-black background.

Self-portrait

A bearded man with dark, tousled hair turns his head toward the viewer against a nearly black background. Loose, textured brushwork lights his face and white collar while his dark jacket dissolves into shadow, and a pale band crosses the bottom edge.
