Shakyamuni with two attendants
A seated Buddha in a red robe scattered with gold roundels rests on a richly decorated pedestal, one hand raised in gesture. His halo is outlined in gold, and two standing attendants flank the altar: one in orange robes at left, one bearded in blue at right. The composition is frontal and symmetrical against a dark ground.
Look closer: A small seated figure or lion-like motif with ornaments appears on the central front of the pedestal.
