Carved and painted wooden female bust with curled dark hair and blue headband, blue drapery and scrolled base, against a plain gray background.

Ship Figurehead: Female Bust, White Pine, 1800–1815

A carved and painted wooden bust of a woman with dark curled hair gathered high under a blue headband, turned in profile to the left. Her blue-gray drapery falls across the shoulders, with a scrolled carved base below, and the paint shows wear and flaking.
