Side Chair
A carved wooden side chair with a shell-topped crest rail and a pierced splat of interlaced ribbon curves. Its upholstered seat, in a patterned damask, rests on cabriole legs ending in ball-and-claw feet, with a shell carved at the knee.
Look closer: A carved shell decorates the top center of the crest rail.
