Sleeping Lion, pen and brown ink drawing

A lion lies stretched out on its belly, head resting on its forepaws, drawn in loose brown pen and ink on pale paper. Dense, flowing strokes shape the thick mane and relaxed legs, and a small date, 1815, is inscribed at lower right.
