Sphinx, Small Bronze-Dark Lead Figure on Black Base

A small dark metal figure of a winged sphinx stands on a tapered black wooden base, its body bent forward with head lowered and wings raised over its back. The surface shows wear and uneven tone, and the plain grey backdrop isolates the sculpture against the soft light.
