Spouted Ewer with Handle
A white-glazed stoneware ewer with a looping handle and short spout stands on a footed base. Its body is carved through the white slip to reveal a dark brown ground, with large scrolling leaves and peony-like blossoms wrapping the belly.
Look closer: A hairline crack runs down the neck of the ewer.
