Misty Japanese hanging scroll of a hillside with pine trees, blossoming trees by a river, white plum blossoms in the foreground, and a wooden pavilion at right.

Spring landscape with plum blossoms and pines

A hanging scroll painting in muted ink and color on silk shows a misty hillside crowned by pines, with bare and blossoming trees along a pale river bank. White plum blossoms bloom in the lower left foreground, while a wooden pavilion with a veranda sits at the right edge beneath a red artist's seal.
